STATE/DISTRICT COORDINATORS

The Varnasrama College Foundation (VCF) invites applications for the post of VCF State/District Coordinator to those who meet the following BASIC QUALIFICATIONS and who can comply with the SERVICE DESCRIPTION on a voluntary basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATION

1 Good writing and communication skills.
2 Enthusiasm, Determination and Patience
3 Basic understanding of Varnasrama Mission 
4 Minimum 6 hours of time every week for meetings, communications and travel. 
5 Chanting 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna Maha mantra and following the 4 regulative principles. 
6 Submitting CV and current photo.
7 Mandatory reading of prescribed Vaisnava literatures. 
8 Two letters of reference. 
9 Entrance Examination
10 Varnasrama Teacher Training Certificate 
11 Minimum 18 years of age.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

1 To oversee the affairs of VCF within a particular allocated State. 
2 To promote the aims and objectives of VCF.
3 To help establish Varnasrama Research Teams (VRT) in keeping with the guidelines given by VCF. 
4 To nominate individuals for the post of District Coordinators within a particular allocated State. 
5 To compile Monthly Reports as per template given by VCF and to submit such reports to the VCF Directorate on the first week of every month.
6 To communicate regularly with appointed District Coordinators in the State.
7 To attend twice a year regional conferences or workshops, one within the State for District Coordinators and one in various States for State Coordinators.  
8 To promote VCF Patron Membership within the allocated State. 
9 To help establish traditional Gurukula within the allocated State. 
10 To help establish Varnasrama Colleges within the allocated State.
11 To help revive and support Vedic Villages in the allocated State.

Varnasrama Coordinators Meeting

On June 24, devotees from 8 different countries (see below) joined online for the first Varnasrama Coordinators
Conference.  The purpose of this meeting was to introduce devotees with one another and to outline the general duties and responsibilities of a Varnasrama Coordinator.

Simply put, a Varnasrama Coordinator helps to organize  and encourage local or regional devotees to read, discuss and whenever possible begin implementing various aspects of the Global Varnasrama Mission.

There are more devotees in other countries whom I have not been able to invite due to shortness of time and I request any devotee to kindly contact me so we can add you to the group.
